Starting with prayer, and depending on the decision to be made: do I take this job, should we move, etc., it would also be wise to consult others we trust for advise and ask their prayers. And where is your heart, the state of your walk? Is there anything unresolved between you and God that might inhibit this prayer?
That's a good point and I'm glad you mention it. Something similar was cut from the article for brevity and clarity, and that it could be another article. But the point remains, we do need trusted Godly advisors.
Our experience is that too many rely primarily on a video or a book or a parent, and don't pray much, if at all, about it. Both are good together.
